Our instruction is current and up to date with spa treatment applications in either a dry or wet room setting. The information given will cover hydrotherapy practice, aromatherapy, cavitation, endermatherapy, use of thalassotherapy and balneotherapy, body wraps and scrubs, para fango and cellulite treatments….indications and contraindications of treatments. A well rounded overview of products, ingredients and their application and benefits will be areas of focus. This is an advanced training in application of spa and body treatments beyond the required instruction for massage therapy or skin care specialist. The spa program is an adjunct study to other licensures it does not provide a specialty state license. This area of study is a must if the student or graduate desires to work in a day spa or destination spa.
